Why the moisture comes first
Mold is a symptom. It grows where water has been sitting: a slow leak in a wall, a roof that let a winter storm in, a bathroom that never dries out, a crawl space full of damp air. Remove the mold without fixing that and it comes back, usually in the same place.
So every job starts the same way: find the water, stop it, and only then plan the removal. It's the least glamorous part of the work and the part that decides whether the result lasts.
How we work
- Inspection before a quote. We look, measure moisture and explain what we find before putting a price on anything.
- Containment on every removal job. Poly sheeting, zipper doors and negative air keep spores out of the rest of the building.
- Remove what can't be cleaned. Porous materials with growth in them come out. Solid materials are cleaned and dried.
- Verify before rebuild. The area is checked, and tested where needed, before walls are closed up.
- Plain answers. If a small area is something you can safely clean yourself, we'll say so.
